Virginia Torres Bond

Real Estate Advisor

Founding Engel & Völkers Tampa Water Street is the realization of License Partner Virginia Torres Bond’s business goals and personal dreams. With over twenty years as a high performing real estate professional in Greater Tampa Bay, she has earned countless awards for sales achievement, positive contribution to culture, and philanthropic fundraising.

Her work with developers and builders has been exceptionally productive. Virginia earned the Morrison Homes (now Taylor Morrison) 2002 Rookie of the Year Award (presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Builders Association of Greater Tampa Bay). Virginia went on to repeatedly rank #1 in the Tampa Bay region and Top 5 nationally. Notable milestones include her promotion to  Senior Sales Associate with Taylor Morrison and earning the 2007 Annual Million Dollar Club Diamond Award.

A longtime mentor convinced Virginia to make the jump to general real estate and she never looked back. During her time at Keller Williams Tampa Central, Virginia built a sterling reputation for professionalism as a Realtor. Virginia was a multi-year member of the Associate Leadership Council at Keller Williams Tampa Central and organized successful fundraising events as part of the “KW Cares” philanthropic campaign. Here, she parlayed her experience in developer services, new home construction, and the creation of extremely effective sales and marketing campaigns to develop a high performing sales team based in the a luxury, waterfront, estate style community of Stonelake Ranch in Thonotosassa, Florida.

Virginia’s team completed the sale of all developer lots in Stonelake Ranch in 2021. While functioning as a real estate concierge to the Developer, Builders, Owners, and Buyers within the community, Virginia’s team presence gave her the opportunity to sell many resale properties in Stonelake Ranch and the communities surrounding Lake Thonotosassa. In the process, Virginia was instrumental in helping this community reclaim, then surpass the property values that were lost in the systemic market fluctuations of 2008. These properties continue to appreciate in value.

 Enter Engel & Völkers.

As the Stonelake Ranch project approached completion, Virginia carefully considered her next progression in the real estate industry. Providentially, Engel & Völkers Florida approached her with the opportunity to become a license partner and open her own Engel & Völkers brokerage. She quickly realized she could merge her local expertise with Engel & Völkers international luxury brand to create an extraordinary. Her decision was made, and the future was set.

Throughout her career Virginia has been an active fundraiser and volunteer for many charitable organizations. She has worked with the Latin American Children’s Fund, Dress for Success, Metropolitan Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Hope Children’s Home, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Race for the Cure, American Stroke Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Special Olympics.

Virginia currently serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay Leadership Council. Engel & Völkers is a proud champion of Special Olympics, specifically focused on creating more inclusive communities through its Athlete Leadership and Play Unified programs. We are committed to giving back to and investing in the neighborhoods our clients desire because these too are the places in which we live, play, and raise our families.
